NEW TRANSANTIAGO ROUTES THAT REACH PANUL
The past month has seen changes to the routes of Transantiago, the capital's much-criticized public transit system. Fortunately, these changes benefit many more people who now have additional options for getting to Bosque Panul — making the Community Park feel ever closer, since Panul is an Urban Forest, visitors enjoy great ease of access.
The past month has seen changes to the routes of Transantiago, the capital's much-criticized public transit system. Fortunately, these changes benefit many more people who now have additional options for getting to Bosque Panul — making the Community Park feel ever closer, since Panul is an Urban Forest, visitors enjoy great ease of access.
The new routes are:
- Trunk Line 322:
Departs from the Intermodal Station at Bellavista Metro, passing through Walker Martínez, Jardín Alto, Gerónimo de Alderete, Araucanía, and then climbs to the end of the route along Rojas Magallanes to the Canal Las Perdices.
- Extension E07:
The E07 modifies its route, also departing from the Intermodal Station, passing through Vicuña Mackenna and climbing straight along Rojas Magallanes to the end of the route at Las Perdices.
These join the existing routes E03 and E10, which also terminate in the vicinity of Panul.
- E03: This bus departs from the La Cisterna district, bringing Panul closer to much of southern Santiago. It starts on Calle Ciencias, then takes E. Fernández Albano eastward, followed by Linares, Lia Aguirre, Walker Martínez, Jardín Alto, and finally Rojas Magallanes to the end of the route.
- E10: Begins the route at Santa Rosa, then climbs along Tomé, passes by Metro Santa Julia and Villa O'Higgins on Calle Santa Raquel, then continues along Santa Amalia, Colombia, Enrique Olivares, and finally takes Rojas Magallanes to the end of the route at Las Perdices.
There is also still the option of going all the way to the Park entrance by taking Collective Taxi 3019, which departs from Metro Mirador, passing through Vicuña Mackenna and Rojas Magallanes, ending at Las Tinajas.
In this way, Bosque Panul is consolidating itself as an Urban Forest that is very easily accessible to many people from all over Santiago.
