Abstract

This industrialization project, called "Bosque Panul", consists of the design of an illustrated educational system aimed at the professional sphere, intended to complement the work carried out by the Red por la Defensa de la Precordillera community organization — the body responsible for protecting the last sclerophyllous native forest within the urban area of Santiago, known as Panul. The project seeks to promote education and awareness about the ecosystem of this place, covering topics such as its main characteristics, ecosystem services, flora, fauna, and recommendations for visitors.

To achieve this, a web interface is used, which through user experience design aims to communicate information about the subject in an empathetic way. Emotional design strategies and principles of environmental education are applied with the goal of building a connection between users and Bosque Panul.
